Earwigs
Earwigs are a medium sized insect with flat bodies.
They are usually black or brown in colour with stripes or reddish colouring on head.
They are around 17.5mm long.
They are a nocturnal insect that feed on other insects, decaying organic material or greasy food items left in kitchen.
Earwigs don’t habitat in domestic properties as such they generally are attracted to moist areas around the house so foundations or under stones.
They can gain access through window sills or door ways and are attracted to light.
They don’t cause any internal damage they can cause damage in gardens to plants / flowers etc.
